Health Insurance

Here at Osteon we are covered by most of the major health insurance companies. We try to make the process of claiming back off your insurance as painless as possible. Below you will find an explanation of the process of how Osteon works with these insurance companies and how you get your money back.

If you can't see the name of your insurance company then please contact us and we will take you through the process.


Before claiming on either BUPA or AXA PPP you may need a referral via your GP. This is not always the case so it’s best to check with your insurer first.

We would need the following information,

  • Your Membership Number
  • Your Authorisation Number
  • Clarify your Excess Payment (the excess payment is paid directly to Osteon on the first session)
  • Clarify how many Treatment Sessions you have been referred for.


Unfortunately, without the above information we cannot commence treatment and Osteon will charge you for the full new patient treatment cost.

Pru Health, Cigna, SimplyHealth and Aviva

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3 (maybe 4)

  • You generally self refer to Osteon (it’s all best to tell your insurer first to make sure you have appropriate cover)
  • You have treatment with Osteon
  • Osteon will issue you a receipt (N.B the receipt may not always be given at point of treatment)
  • You send your receipt to your insurer and they will reimburse the costs
